On Wednesday Dec. 4, 11 students joined the Columbian Squires at the most recent investiture. With increasing popularity at St. Thomas, more and more students have joined the youth service fraternity.
The Squires work all year to do service projects both at St. Thomas and around the Houston area.
The investiture took place in the Hall of Honor with Fr. James Blocher, C.S.B., the organization’s chaplain.
With the 11 new members and the 30 students joined in August, the Squires’ numbers have reached over 100.
