Sign provides reminder for drivers, safe passage for pedestrians

With the recent campus alterations and beautifications came one of the most requested changes in recent memory, the construction of a new, moderately sized speed bump behind the priests’ residence and directly in front of the parking garage. This change also came with a new sign warning all drivers to slow down.

Aside from the additional plus of not doing a costly amount of damage to the underside of your car, it has exponential benefits on all members, especially the drivers, of the community.

This sign seems to have greatly benefitted drivers and serves as a constant reminder to those behind the wheel to ease off of the accelerator when trying to either get from one side of the campus to the other or exiting the parking lot to being the drive home.

This sign is just one example of practical changes around campus that need to continue to e made in order to make the school more functional and safe.
