“The 100” follows the story of the
survival of the human race after a nuclear
armageddon. Survivers from twelve
space stations eventually band together
into one giant station known as “The
Ark”, which is running low on resources.
The show mainly follows a group of teens
who are sent down as punishment, and
are set to face the dangers of our planet
and attempt to form a civilization there,
while also following life back on “The
Ark” as resources there are dwindling.
The third season of “The 100” premiered
on January 21, 2016.
"Arrow" is about billionaire playboy
Oliver Queen and his return to
civilization after his yacht crashes and
he is left stranded on a deserted island
that forces him to learn new traits to
survive. He takes up an alter ego, wearing
a hood and wielding a bow and vows to
right his fathers wrongs by taking down
those who have corrupted Sterling City.
The show also mainly follows the lives
of Oliver's former girlfriend Laurel, his
sister Thea, and his mom Moira. "Arrow"
is currently in its fourth season with
three of the seasons on Netflix.
“Californication” is the story of Hank
Moody, a writer and novelist who
struggles with a heap of personal
problems amid having a writer’s block
that has lasted for multiple years.
“Californication” shows how Moody’s
difficulties with his addictions continue
to tear down his career and relationships.
The show also chronicles how Moody
struggles to raise his daughter in the crazy
environment that is Los Angeles and how
he cannot maintain a relationship with
his ex-girlfriend. All seven seasons of
“Californication” appear on Netflix.
Making a Murderer
“Making a Murder” is the show
everyone seems to be talking about.
Following the life of Steven Avery, this
series focuses on the fact that this man
spent eighteen years of his life in prison
for a crime he did not commit. After
being released, yet another crime has
evidence that loosely points to him.
Fans have been raving over this series,
and find it similar to the nail-biting
excitement that was last seen in the O.J.
Simpson case. While the show is biased
in making Avery seem innocent, the
show is still worth checking out.
House of Cards
It is said that politics are boring. It
turns out this is not completely true.
The hit Netflix series, “House of Cards”,
takes this saying and throws it out the
window. This Netflix franchise follows
the life of Frank Underwood, as he
plays a sort of chess game to get to the
top. His ruthless quest for power leads
him through three nail-biting seasons.
On April 2, Netflix green lit the fourth
season, which is set to premier some
time this year. If you have not gotten
into this show yet, there is still plenty
of time to binge watch all 39 episodes
