With Homecoming having come and gone and Prom to look forward to, it is necessary to examine the types of people that go to these school sanctioned events.

Many different students attend these dances. Of all the students that attend these dances, there are three different types of couples that stand out.

1The “Dog on a Leash”

This is the couple that is most likely dating, and everyone knows it. The guy is comparable to a dog on a leash because she never lets him out of her sight. Even though he asked her to homecoming in person with flowers, a very nice way to ask, she made him make a poster and some elaborate way of asking so she could get a cute pic for her Instagram page.

She makes sure to overly display every act of kindness he gives on the Instagram with a premeditated picture that should score some basic comments from her girlfriends. Steer clear of these couples at the dance because if you do not you are sure to catch them in the middle of some public displays of affection, and no one wants to see that.

2The “Debbie Downer”

This is the couple that would do anything to get out of the situation they are currently in. They both do not want to be at the dance, and they are both making it very obvious. You might wonder how they got into this situation, or why these two people chose to go to this event together.

Well, it is almost a certainty their friends have set them up together. They both really had no choice, but reluctantly agreed because they wanted to hang with their friends. Once they meet for the first time at pictures they realize how much they dislike each other and both decide at that moment that it is gonna be a rough night.

You can spot this couple easily because they can be seen talking to anyone but their actual date. After the dance the guy tries to be nice and sends her a text saying that he hopes she had a good night, and that he had fun.

3The “Bottlerocket”

This couple seemed pretty normal at first. Both people are pretty quiet normally. Both of them like to keep it simple for the most part and take it easy. For dinner, they went with a group, made small talk and enjoyed each other’s company.

Everything was calm about them until they stepped on the dance floor. Once they were both out there, they could be seen busting out ridiculous dance moves. Every single song they can be seen whipping, dropping it, yeeting and ooping.

There is not a doubt in my mind you will find all of these types of couples at the dances. Also keep in mind that there are many other types as well. Be careful out there.
