Incense ignites Opening Mass fire alarm

The first all-school liturgy of the year opened with a bang, as the start was delayed for nearly 10 minutes due to a false fire alarm.

As Rev. Patrick Fulton, C.S.B., Principal, began the celebration, the alarm began. Teachers and students stood for a brief period until Fulton calmly motioned for everyone to sit.

As the fire alarm buzzed on everyone got a few laughs out of the situation.

After the alarm was finally turned off the Mass went on with no other flaws. Incense was blamed as the trigger of the alarm.
