Students should take advantage of LEC events

Staff Editorial

In an academically challenging school like ours, students should pursue any way they can to gain an advantage that will help them in their academic life.

A great place to gain such an advantage is through the new Learning Enrichment Center, which will host two events during September – and many more throughout the year – helping to enhance the time management and organizational skills of any willing student.

Sept. 12, the LEC host “How S.M.A.R.T. Are You?” during each study hall period. The session will be in the Aquinas Room in the LRC and will teach all about the necessary skills for academic success like time management and the use of an academic planner.

Sign up sheets are in the LEC, and the deadline for signing up is Sept 10.

Additionally, the LEC will host “Cluttered Spaces = Cluttered Minds!” Sept. 26.

This seminar will enhance note-taking ability and organizational skills helping you to perform better academically. Also taking place in the Aquinas Room in the LRC, the deadline for signing up is Sept 24.
