Tablet audits ensure commitment to responsible use

Tablets have been given to us as a tool to enhance our school experience. Whether they have been effective has been an issue for weeks now. Regardless we have had to assimilate and change some of our habits and routines.

It is understandable that the school must protect itself from students participating in illegal activity on the school-owned tablets. It is even understandable that, as a Catholic institution, it needs to prevent the viewing of pornography and other inappropriate content.

The students of this school have worked hard to get used to the tablets and use them as the opportunity they are meant to be. It takes plenty of self control to avoid downloading games instead of taking notes.
