The St. Thomas Drama Guild put on three performances of Treasure Island the weekend of Oct. 26 to Oct. 28.

The play was performed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the Moran Fine Arts Center.

The show was adapted from the book Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Jim Hawkins was played by sophomore William Wheeler. Ben Gunn was played by senior T.J. Martin. Senior Gabriel Gaucin took the role of Captain Smollett. Long John Silver was played by senior Chris Patton.

All three of sister schools were represented in the play, including senior Olivia Weiner of Duchesne Academy as Dr. Livesy.

A highlight of the show was an entire wooden ship on stage, built by the set crew.

The drama guild puts on two plays each academic year. The next play will be Fiddler on the Roof, planned for the Spring semester.
