For the past two years, Apple has released a new iPhone in September,  with the iPhone 5 being its most recent product. This year, however, Apple is now preparing for  its latest upgrade and is expected to release the iPhone 5s and another phone called the iPhone 5c. Similarity to the release of the iPhone 4s, the iPhone 5s will be released in the same way and will improve upon its predecessor, but with new features.
This new version of iOS has new software that will protect your phone against iPhone thefts and hacking. For example, iTunes will require you to input your Apple ID before you reset your device. iOS 7 also has a new Control Center area, making it easier to use your setting that includes Wi-Fi and screen brightness.

A new multitasking will be introduced, allowing you to swipe and close your applications whenever you please.

Apple will also have a new version of its processor; this will make the phone much faster and more efficient, while also improving its battery life.

The camera for the newest iPhones will be much better with their new 12-megapixel camera, providing a better flash for taking photos in low-light condition. Last month, it was reported by 9to5 Mac that it may be able to record videos at 120 frames per second, allowing for slow-motion video.

This year, the new iPhone will come in a brand new color: gold. But with there are many speculations that the iPhone 5c will come in multiple colors, and will be made of plastic. Since it’s made of plastic, this will make it more affordable. Apple has said that the release of the iPhone 5s and 5c is scheduled for September 10th.
