Student concern over quality, journalistic abilities

To the Editor:

I was incredibly disappointed with the content of the most recent Eagle. Despite a long standing tradition of excellence in journalistic truth, well sourced research, and fundamental use of grammar, through lack of even basic understanding and competence, some writers have besmirched the record of goodness, discipline, and knowledge usually conveyed by our award winning publications department.

Saint Thomas is blessed to have access to excellent faculty and written resources. There is no excuse for not being par to expected Eagle quality, in fact, the Eagle staff involved should strive to exceed expectations and diligently serve our renown. I look forward to future breaches back into the realm of excellence.
