A new Fortnite season took all those who play video games by storm breaking multiple video game recorders when they brought players back to the “OG” map. Fortnite is a game based on a multiplayer online battle royal. In this game, each player spawns into a 100-person lobby where they are deployed over a map. Once deployed players drop to different locations in order to acquire loot that will help them defeat other players, by defeating all other players and being the last one standing a player obtains a “victory royal.”
Fortnite hit its prime in 2018 and as the game developed players got too good at the game eventually reaching a point where the game was not enjoyable. Not only did players become too good but the game itself changed drastically leading to the quitting of many players. Recently Fortnite dropped its new season which in a sense brought players back to the 2018 game play in which everyone enjoyed the game.
The new season brings back everything that there is to love and enjoy playing Fortnite. The new season allows people to reconnect through Fortnite like they once did. Furthermore, it also allows people to experience the “good old days” again when people would stay up all night on a school night with their friends laughing and having fun on the game. This game allows for everyone no matter the skill level to “hop back on” and play. With everyone hopping back on the game it allows people to re-build the bridges of friendship that they once made over the game.
“Thanks to the new update I am able to hang out with my old friend Thomas Denforio who moved states,” Tyler Day said.
The in-game experience is visually pleasing because the old cleaner graphics were re-introduced allowing the typical gamer to find the game intriguing. Overall anyone who played Fortnite back in its prime or never had the opportunity to play in its prime should get on the game and have the time of their life.
To conclude, THE OLD MAP IS BACK!!!!!!! The game is more fun than ever. For many reasons, the game is really fun. These reasons include old gameplay, old graphics, and old friendships. “Every day after school I go home and play Fortnite over doing my homework and on the weekends
“I love playing Fortnite with my friends, it’s really like I am back in 2018,” Luke Jamesion said.
