Most students think the season is just about to start, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. For baseball players, preparation took place all summer, and the team started to play together in the early fall. The went through an extensive fall program that included weightlifting, conditioning, skill work, and live games through the fall world series. In the fall world series, captains Jake Baskin ’25 and Jackson Ambrose ’25 drafted teams before competing against each other.
The leadership from senior players like Baskin and Ambrose will undoubtedly be a key component in the success of the team this coming season.
On the mound, starting pitchers Hayden Murphy and Braden Comstock are set to lead the team. While there are a lot of experienced players on the team, one half of the team is new to the varsity field, with many of them expected to make an immediate impact on the field. “I am excited to have the opportunity to put all of my hard work on display at the varsity level” Tyler Veillon ‘26 said.
