Juniors to be exempt from final exams

Beginning this spring, juniors will have a way to exempt their final exams.

Last week, the academic deans approved a new proposal to provide an option for junior students to be exempt from final exams, an option previously only afforded to seniors.

Junior John Green wrote the proposal and submitted it for review.

The new policy states juniors can exempt spring finals by having:

  • A 90 GPA
  • No more than five absences
  • No more than five tardies, excused or unexcused
