St. Thomas used to have a movie club but it was unfortunately shut down. It would be great if a new club could be started again. Through a movie a club, we could have those with a serious interest in filmmaking and film history come together to discuss and share our favorite movies and filmmakers. This wouldn’t be a class, but a gathering of film enthusiasts every Friday at the end of school. The club would allow members to express their opinions, have on-topic conversations in an organized manner, and will promote interest and further learning in the filmmaking process.
