Recently, there has been a lot of talk about the schedule for next year. While we don’t know all the details, there is one aspect of this year’s schedule that should be used next year as well: the lunch study hall. The lunch study hall has been really useful for students like myself enrolled in an advanced or AP class, as the lunch study hall gives an opportunity to catch up on the heavy workload often associated with these classes. Also, it provides a great opportunity to take an extended time portion of an exam if needed. Additionally, the lunch study hall ensures that the cafeteria does not get overcrowded at any given time, which can be a problem if the entire student body goes to lunch in the same period. Thus, the lunch study hall is incredibly useful and helpful and should be kept going into next year.
